Job Description
1. Preparation of income tax working papers and liaison with external tax agent to ensure the timely lodgement of annual group income tax return.
2. Preparation of tax-effect accounting and reporting, including note disclosures.
3. Preparation and lodgement of annual FBT return.
4. Support the preparation of monthly BAS returns and other tax administration tasks as required.
5. Preparation and review of monthly journals, account reconciliations, and accounting workpapers.
6. Preparation of monthly management reports, including cash flow statements and KPI reporting.
7. Ensure monthly financial reporting is completed on time and in accordance with accounting standards.
8. Maintain and improve finance processes, documentation, and systems to create efficiencies and support business objectives.
The Successful Applicant
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CA qualification.
- Strong understanding of corporate tax.
- Experience in the property industry is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An innovative and problem-solving mindset.
