to join
Gove District Hospital

The Role You will work within a
Rural Generalist model, primarily practising in your area of advanced skills (Obstetrics), with the flexibility to contribute across emergency, inpatient care, and special clinics as required.
Appointments will be made at
Rural Generalist Level 1 to Senior Rural Generalist Level 3, depending on experience.
Remuneration & Incentives Total remuneration package: $366,402 – $447,470 per annum, including:
Base salary: $207,165 – $234,964
Practitioner Allowance: 30% of base salary
Professional Development Allowance: $22,251 per annum
Revenue Activity Incentives: up to $85,000 per annum
Attraction & Retention Bonuses
Remote retention payments
Maximum GPRIP payments (MMM7 classification)
Superannuation and leave loading included
The Hospital Hospital
is a 30-bed regional hospital providing a comprehensive range of services, including:
Acute medical, surgical, paediatric, maternity, and respite care
Emergency Department and Operating Theatre
Specialist outpatient clinics
The maternity unit delivers
collaborative antenatal and birthing care, supported by telehealth partnerships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs). The hospital operates a
Level 3 nursery, with tertiary neonatal and obstetric support.
