We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our Accounting and Financial Planning team. Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the accounting and financial planning team
* Assist with the preparation and tracking of tax returns
* Assist with the preparation of financial planning reports
* Assist with client emails and paperwork to support a wide range of tasks both in accounting and financial planning
* Schedule meetings, keep track of workflows and ensure the day to day operations run efficiently
* Communicate with clients, and internal team regarding financial documents and deadlines
* Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems
* Ensure confidentiality and integrity of financial data

Qualifications
* Proven experience in an administrative or assistant role, preferably in finance or accounting
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus specifically "Access Accountant", "BGL 360" & "Midwinter".
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* High level of discretion when dealing with sensitive financial information
* Based on the Sunshine Coast, preferably the northern end
