As a Therapeutic Youth Worker, you will provide a safe and supportive environment for young people to thrive. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of relevant work experience and a qualification in Human Resources or a willingness to obtain one.
About the Role
* You will support young people as they transition into and out of care, helping them achieve their living skills and Case Plan goals.
* You will be an advocate for the young person, using your skills to manage complex behaviours and difficult situations according to their behaviour management plan.
Responsibilities
1. Provide trauma-informed therapeutic care for children and young people who have experienced significant adversity.
2. Support young people to achieve their living skills and Case Plan goals.
3. Be available for shift work, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
4. Undertake ongoing training as identified.
