**Account Manager - Rural Sales Division**

**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our rural sales team on a full-time basis, working Monday to Friday. Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, we're looking for a team player, who does not see themselves as a good salesperson, but rather an exceptional service provider. You will offer sales service support to our national dealer network. Our dealer network predominantly services rural Australia and many of them have been with us for decades. We are looking for a person who will fit in with this 'country' culture, whilst also being professional, diligent, and be passionate about what we do. Relationships are the key to this role and understanding how to foster strong relationships is paramount. You'll be required to liaise between your rural dealer accounts, at all levels and then be involved in tailoring and implementing a business strategy, that best suits their individual needs, whilst also providing sales growth to Pioneer.
The role is quite varied, as our dealer network consists of all levels of capabilities and in some cases, you will be called upon to be your dealer's salesperson, to the end-user customers. In other cases, you will facilitate sales and business mythology trainings for their already experienced staff.
**Key Responsibilities of the role**:
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships within our current Pioneer Dealer network and then nature these, into almost personal friendships.
- Be involved in all levels of the sales process, dealing directly with the end-use customer. Including phone calls, qualifying, quoting, sale closures and follow-up of leads.
- Understand the technical aspects of tanks and the many variants that can affect performance - we want you to become the tank expert.
- Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Represent the company professionally and further develop our brand and customer relationships at out-of-office events, like rural field days, state & national conferences and at the dealer's premises.
- Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical services groups.
- Plans and organises personal sales strategy by maximising the return on time investment for the dealer's territory.
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Is actively involved in providing ideas for improvement of not only our product range but also, the systems we use to present them.
**Desirable Criteria**:
- Experience in external sales and/or account management of B2B products.
- Rural sales or rural industry experience.
- Experience in over the phone sales and customer service.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills including, conflict resolution and has a pleasant demeanour
- Excellent time management skills.
- Takes the initiative and is customer focussed.
- Is suited to a fun environment with a work ethic.
- Driver's Licence.
