We are seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Avionics to join our Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) Services team supporting Modification and Depot Maintenance for the P-8A Poseidon Program at Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Edinburgh.
Responsibilities
* Maintain individual qualifications and certifications associated with Cert IV Aeroskills – Avionics in accordance with the Boeing Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE)
* Adhere to all approved maintenance processes and procedures
* Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed and corrective actions satisfy task requirements
* Carry out aircraft and/or component maintenance duties, including task completion, certification and finalisation, in accordance with maintenance authorisation
* Use equipment only in accordance with authorised instructions and safe use procedures
Experience / Qualifications
* Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) – Essential
* Hold or be able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance – Essential
* Hold a C class driver's licence – Essential
* Suitability to obtain a DASR Part 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) – Essential
* Demonstrate sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance procedures and the DASR 145 aircraft maintenance regulatory framework – Essential
* Demonstrate contemporary working knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices – Essential
* Prior maintenance experience in 737NG or derivative aircraft – Desirable
Security Clearance
You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance sponsored by BDA. You must disclose all relevant information and verify your background from birth to present.
