OUR STORY
The Central Land Council (CLC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976. The CLC represents traditional landowners, native title holders, and other Aboriginal people in the southern half of the Northern Territory—an area of almost 780,000 square kilometres.
The CLC provides its constituents with advice, advocacy, and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land, and protect their rights.

THE ROLE
COORDINATOR, PBC SUPPORT UNIT - NT004 - ALICE SPRINGS
Salary range: $111,631.00 - $120,541.00
The Central Land Council (CLC) is the Native Title Representative Body (NTRB) for the southern region of the Northern Territory. The CLC fulfills functions under the Native Title Act (NTA) related to securing and advocating for the Native Title rights of its constituents. The CLC supports Prescribed Bodies Corporate (PBCs) in its region.
The PBC Support Unit (PBCSU) was established to help PBCs build capacity to meet their legal and governance obligations, develop sustainable governance practices, and support their social and cultural aspirations. The unit also collaborates with PBC enterprise services to explore enterprise development activities for financial independence.
This position is responsible for coordinating, managing, monitoring, and implementing the unit's workplan, supervising staff, and ensuring the effective delivery of CLC's support services as outlined in the service level agreement with PBCs, aligned with the CLC's Corporate Plan and funding requirements.
