About the Disability Support Role
This role involves providing exceptional support to clients with disabilities, enabling them to achieve their goals outlined in their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan.
Key responsibilities include:
* Working independently to provide tailored support that promotes and maintains client independence.
* Responding to client needs and collaborating effectively with their families, carers, and other stakeholders.
* Maintaining accurate records of activities through progress notes.
* Adhering to the NDIS Code of Conduct.
To succeed in this role, applicants should possess:
* The ability to work with children and vulnerable adults.
* Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
* A strong understanding of the NDIS and its principles.
* Experience working with high care needs, including personal care, manual handling, and community access.
* A willingness to provide domestic assistance.
* A passion for supporting individuals with disabilities to improve their quality of life and reach their potential.
* A valid driver's licence and a willingness to transport clients when required (with mileage reimbursement).
The following shifts need to be filled:
Shifts Schedule
Week 1:
* Tuesday: 12pm-5pm
* Thursday: 12pm-3pm
* Friday: 9:30am-4:30pm
Week 2:
* Tuesday: 1pm-6pm
* Thursday: 12pm-3pm
* Friday: 9:30am-4:30pm
* Sunday: 12pm-2pm
