Position Title: Lead Clinician CAMHS
Classification: RNP3; SW2; OT2
Salary per hour (exc. super): $43 to $50 per hour
Employment Status: Ongoing, Full time or Part time (negotiable on application)
Other requirements: COVID-19 Vaccination (3 doses); Current Police Check & Working with Children's Check.

Our skilled, committed and expanding team are seeking clinicians who have a strong desire to provide innovative recovery focussed, family inclusive and individual assessment and therapeutic interventions for young people presenting with serious mental health, distress and/or risk concerns. We currently have positions in Castlemaine, Kyneton & Echuca who hold close connections to our main Bendigo team for clinical support and supervision.

To be successful in this role you will have:
* A bachelor / master degree in Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Social work & current registration with AHPRA or meet credentialing requirements as SW.
* Demonstrated clinical skills and experience in providing contemporary, evidence-based child and adolescent mental health care or the aptitude to develop these skills
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders to maximise service coordination.
* Highly developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills along with proficient computer skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability that contributes and enhances the team’s capability to provide highest quality care.

* Essential : Current registration as Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or; Social Worker – membership/meets the eligibility requirements for membership, with the Australian Association of Social Work.
* Essential : Post graduate qualifications in Mental Health related field, or working toward same
* Essential : Experience in child and adolescent mental health services or able to demonstrate an aptitude for such work
* Essential : Demonstrated commitment and experience in an integrated community-based treatment model for people with a mental illness and associated complexity.
* Essential : Experience in liaising and consulting with relevant family members, team members, and a broad range of health professionals and community agencies.
* Essential : High level of organisational, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with a sound ability to strategically prioritise work requirements/demands.
* Essential : Demonstrated evidence of participation in education and training to other staff, and commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Essential : Knowledge and experience working with the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act (2022), the Child and Young People Act 2008, amendments, and knowledge of relevant state-wide Psychiatric Service Frameworks Procedures and Guidelines and Bendigo Health policy and procedures.
