With iconic status in the community, the centre has evolved over time with multiple redevelopments and an array of retail tenants reflecting the changing face of fashion and lifestyle. As Brisbane’s iconic shopping centre, Indooroopilly is anchored by David Jones, Myer, Kmart, Target, Coles, Woolworths, Event Cinemas and offers 284 specialty stores. With several new stores the centre is perfectly positioned to continue to delight its loyal customer base and attract new customers with its considerable charm. Reporting to the Assistant Centre Manager, the Administration Manager plays a key role in ensuring the efficient day‑to‑day administration of the centre, with responsibility for billings, purchasing, rent roll management, and arrears control. You will make an impact by: Lead and align the Administration team to centre and company objectives, ensuring high‑quality, efficient delivery of all administrative functions. Manage tenant arrears, reconciliations, and debt recovery activities to achieve company KPI targets. Prepare and support debt management actions including payment plans, demands, proof‑of‑debt submissions, and doubtful debt reviews. Support centre financial performance through tenant capital contributions, accounts payable compliance, and input into annual budgets and forecasts. Ensure accuracy of lease and financial data, including tenancy schedules, rent rolls, billings, and cash allocations in collaboration with Accounts Receivable. Coordinate lease administration requirements such as bank guarantees, insurance certificates, and responses to internal and retailer lease queries. Review and reconcile recoverable outgoings, ensuring compliant and accurate billing in line with lease obligations. About You You are a proactive and collaborative administrator who is numerically and financially savvy, with a genuine passion for retail. You enjoy working in a culture‑first, high‑performing team environment. While experience in retail or property is advantageous, what matters most is strong administration expertise, particularly in managing financials. You will bring: A tertiary qualification in finance or business highly regarded but not required, or alternatively, an Administration or Finance certification. Proven understanding and experience within Shopping Centre Management, with relevant experience using Yardi (desirable) and Microsoft Office Suite. Understanding of the Retail Shop Leases Act (Qld), and similar legislation will be highly regarded. Proven leadership capability, with the ability to develop and support a high‑performing, collaborative team. Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to engage confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders. Well‑developed negotiation, mediation, and conflict‑management skills, with a strong focus on customer outcomes and retention. Energy, initiative, and enthusiasm, leading by example and positively influencing those around you. A high level of attention to detail and a disciplined approach to following processes and maintaining accuracy. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively, manage competing demands, and take ownership. A commitment to continuous improvement, actively seeking opportunities to develop yourself and others.
