We are seeking a highly experienced Payroll Test Engineer to lead and execute end-to-end testing across various payroll-related projects. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our payroll systems and processes.
The Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Develop and implement test plans for payroll system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.
* Conduct end-to-end payroll testing, including parallel runs, data migration validation, and system defect resolution.
* Ensure compliance with local payroll legislation, tax regulations, and company policies in all testing processes.
* Work closely with IT, payroll operations, and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve defects efficiently.
* Support cross-functional teams in user acceptance testing (UAT) and training, and align testing objectives and priorities.
* Ensure all payroll testing activities align with data security, confidentiality, and audit requirements.
* Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test scripts, results, and issue logs.
* Monitor payroll system performance and suggest automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
* Maintain detailed reports on test execution, results, and defect resolution.
* Present test findings and impact assessments to senior management.
What You'll Bring to the Role
* Extensive experience in testing time and attendance systems and/or workforce management solutions.
* Hands-on experience with similar platforms to Tambla, My Compass, Dayforce, SAP Success Factors, HRCentral, Employee Central Payroll, Kronos (UKG), ADP eTime, Workday.
* Strong EBA interpretation experience and understanding of local labor laws.
* Experience in Award Interpretation testing, including attendance and absences.
* Strong analytical skills and expertise in time tracking, scheduling, payroll integration, and compliance testing.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
