Pay Rate: $50 - $55 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday - Day Shift, with additional overtime available
About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join our growing team based in Blacktown, NSW. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering competitive hourly rates and consistent overtime.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full restoration, rebuilding, and re-manufacturing of hydraulic pumps across a wide range of leading brands.
Key Responsibilities
* As a Hydraulic Fitter you will complete strip-down, inspection, and fault diagnosis of hydraulic pumps
* This Hydraulic Fitter will carry out restoration and re-manufacturing of hydraulic pump components
* The Hydraulic Fitter will carry out reassembly and testing of pumps to manufacturer specifications
* The Hydraulic Fitter will have experience working with a variety of pump brands including Danfoss, Kawasaki, and Rexroth
* The Hydraulic Fitter will be maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control
* As the Hydraulic Fitter you will be recording job details and maintaining accurate service documentation
* The Hydraulic Fitter will ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
Skills & Experience
* Trade qualification as a Fitter / Hydraulic Fitter / Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent experience)
* Proven experience working with hydraulic pumps and components
* Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Experience with major brands such as Danfoss, Kawasaki, Rexroth or similar is highly regarded
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
