Job Description
As a Senior Safety Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety of our workforce and stakeholders. You will be responsible for monitoring compliance with safety systems and procedures, providing operational support to the project management team, and administering safety programs for project employees.
* Conduct regular safety inspections and monitoring work areas to identify potential hazards and risks.
* Assist with the development of safety policies and procedures specific to the project.
* Administer safety programs, including incident and accident investigations, workers compensation claims, and rehabilitation processes.
* Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of project safety programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A bachelor's degree in Quality, Safety, Environmental, Project Management or other associated disciplines.
* A Diploma of Work Health and Safety or equivalent.
* Safety Lead Auditor qualification.
* A current driver's license and ability to commute between various projects in both metropolitan and regional Victoria.
