About the role
Are you a skilled welder looking for an exciting new challenge? This full-time position at Arc Spray Engineering in Forrestdale, WA 6112 will see you operating cutting-edge laser cladding robots and traditional welding to provide specialised welding services to our clients across Perth and Western Australia.
What you'll be doing
- Operate and maintain laser cladding robots to apply specialised welding solutions
- Inspect and assess workpieces to determine the appropriate welding techniques and parameters
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and optimise welding processes
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and within agreed timelines
- Adhere to strict health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Complete detailed records and documentation of all welding activities
What we're looking for
- Formal qualifications in welding, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
- Substantial experience (5+ years) operating laser cladding and other advanced welding equipment
- Strong technical skills and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the welding industry
