TLEA is welcoming applications for a full-time Accountant to join our Kwinana team.
The successful applicant will play a central role in delivering key financial reporting requirements to ensure compliance with legislation and accounting standards. This includes preparation, reconciliation and submission of a variety of financial reports and returns. The accountant will also act as the primary focal point for external and internal audit exercises, support the Accounts Payable function.

Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations including inter-company and bank reconciliations
* Completion of monthly accruals, journals, fixed asset and depreciation schedules
* Support monthly report packs
* Support account's payable function (e.g. AP payment run proposal preparation, PR&SES for leases and other ad hoc AP tasks on request)
* Support the tax accountant in the preparation of GST, FBT, Payroll and other tax returns
* Ensure site compliance with relevant accounting policies and procedures including providing assistance with compiling regulatory survey data
* Assist with internal and external audits
* Assist with system implementation and continuous improvement initiatives
* Support Finance Manager and broader Finance team as required
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in commerce (Accounting/Finance)
* Studying towards CA or CPA would be a plus
* Good understanding of accounting principles
* 2+ years' experience in an audit firm or commercial accounting environment
* SAP Knowledge & Experience would be advantageous
