Challenger Valves & Actuators are now seeking a reliable and skilled Welder & Fabricator to join their team in Shepparton.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, working across fabrication, welding, light machining and general warehouse support.
About the Role
* Welding and fabrication of components to specification
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings
* Assisting with basic machining tasks
* Supporting assembly and modification of valve and actuator equipment
* General warehouse duties
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
* Assisting with operational tasks as needed
About You
* Proven experience in welding and fabrication (MIG/TIG preferred)
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Machining experience (highly regarded but not essential)
* A strong work ethic and willingness to be flexible across tasks
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* A team‐first attitude with the ability to work independently when required
* Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
