About the Opportunity
Casual ongoing opportunity based in Bairnsdale with access to development opportunities.
Work in a recovery‐oriented program offering short‐term residential support for people experiencing mental health challenges.
Salary: 38.65 - 41.45 phr (SCHADS Level 3B) + Leave loading + Super + Salary packaging.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with participants in their recovery journey both individually and with clinical care teams.
* Lead a range of groups and activities onsite.
* Provide key operational support and help create new innovations and improvements for ongoing quality.
* Flexibility in availability, willingness to work sleepover, afternoon and weekend shifts; operate 24/7 on a rotating roster.
Qualifications
* Diploma in Mental Health, AOD or related field OR tertiary qualifications in social science or related discipline (current studies also considered).
* Demonstrated experience in the field of mental health and/or disability.
* Current valid Driver's License and the ability to undertake travel for the role.
* Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check.
* Right to Work within Australia.
* Satisfactory National Police Records Check (less than 12 months old).
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
