NDIS Participant Engagement Lead
The NDIS participant engagement lead plays a pivotal role in driving growth of Youth Options NDIS participant numbers, actively filling capacity building program vacancies within Central and North sites. This proactive role involves increasing awareness of Youth Options services through strategic engagement with key NDIS stakeholders, including Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, health professionals, community groups, and families.
Success in this role depends on the ability to leverage a strong network of NDIS referral partners, particularly Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, and Local Area Coordinators. The lead is confident, driven, and familiar with the NDIS landscape, focusing on turning connections into placements and ensuring Youth Options is a provider of choice.
About You:
* A proven track record in business development, stakeholder engagement, and conversion of referrals into placements.
* An established and active network of referral partners, including support coordinators, plan managers, and Local Area Coordinators, with demonstrated success in leveraging these relationships to generate leads.
* In-depth knowledge of NDIS principles, National Disability Service Standards, and person-centered approach to service delivery.
* Highly developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with ability to build trust and influence a range of stakeholders, including families, health professionals, and community organizations.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences and represent Youth Options in community and professional settings.
* Strong organizational and CRM/database management skills, including tracking engagement, monitoring referral pipelines, and reporting on outcomes.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Proactive, results-driven, compassionate, and aligned with Youth Options mission, vision, and values.
* A valid C class driver's license acceptable under state legislation.
