About the role
As a Crew Member you will be a part if a skilled team delivering high quality construction works, predominantly in roads and drainage. This is a varied and physical role where no two days are the same - from concreting and pavements to drainage works and site preparation.
Key activities of this role include:
* Carrying out construction labouring duties across roads, drainage and concreting works
* Operating small plant and equipment such as rollers, compactors, chainsaws, concrete saws and electrical tools
* Preparing and maintaining works sites including traffic control, safety and environmental measures
* Assisting with Water and Sewer adjustments and relocations when required
* Working a part of a team
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* General Induction Card (White) for Construction Works or equivalent
* Class C Driver's Licence
* Traffic Controller Licence or willingness to obtain
* Safe Work near Overhead Power Lines or willingness to obtain
* Recent experience in civil or construction works
* Experience in concreting, pavements and formwork
* Ability to operate minor plant equipment

* *The commencing salary for this position is up to $63.5K per year. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $73.5K on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation*
* We have a permanent full-time roles available
* This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
* This role is located at the Erina Works Depot
