About this role
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in providing person-centred active support to individuals living with disability. This is a casual opportunity that requires flexibility and adaptability.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting clients with mental health challenges and complex behaviours, assisting with personal care tasks and manual handling, and implementing person-centred active support and behaviour support plans.
Key responsibilities
* Support clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mealtime routines
* Assist with personal care tasks and manual handling as required
* Implement person-centred active support and behaviour support plans
* Log daily care and changes in needs to ensure informed, coordinated support
Requirements
* Relevant experience working with individuals with disability and complex needs
* Ability to work across a 24/7 roster, including short-notice shifts and sleepovers
* Unrestricted Western Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
