Your new role
As a Network Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and maintaining the IP & MPLS network. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing network design for BAU operations.
* Rolling out and deploying network solutions to the IP & MPLS Network.
* Developing technical design documentation, including HLD, LLD, and network drawings.
* Provide tier-3 support to the operational team.
* Occasionally handling hardware procurement for the business.
* Continuously seeking ways to improve our processes and exceed customer expectations.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
* Industry certification equivalent to CCNP.
* A minimum of 3+ years' experience in an operational role.
* Proven experience working in an ISP environment.
* Experience managing the delivery of network projects.
* Essential skills in OSPF, BGP, ISIS, BFD, LDP, L2TP, BRAS, Radius, and PPPoE.
* Extensive experience with Cisco.
* Proven troubleshooting skills for network-related issues.
* An understanding of product development challenges.
* Strong documentation and project management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills.
