About Cadsteel
Cadsteel is an established steel framing manufacturer operating from our modern northern Gold Coast facility. We produce precision steel frames for residential builders across Southeast Queensland, running specialised roll-forming equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
We're looking for an Office and Operations Manager who can bridge the gap between our factory floor, suppliers, and customers. This isn't a typical admin role—you'll be the central point coordinating workflow, managing orders through our construction management software, and ensuring projects move seamlessly from quote to delivery.
You'll work directly with our production team, liaise with builders and suppliers, and keep multiple projects tracking simultaneously in a dynamic manufacturing environment. An eye for detail is a must.
What You'll Do
* Maintaining Production Management software with current projects
* Preparation of quotations, estimations and Purchase Order negotiations
* Prepare all project paperwork for factory manufacturing
* Coordinate between office, factory, customers and suppliers
* Process orders, track deliveries, and maintain project schedules
* Communicate effectively with tradies, suppliers
What We're Looking For
* High Attention to Detail - if you don't have it, or think you don't have it - this one's not for you.
* Comfortable with technology - you'll pick up construction software quickly and use it confidently
* Strong communicator - equally comfortable chatting with factory staff and professional clients
* Self-motivated - you take initiative and don't need constant direction
* Organised multitasker - you thrive managing multiple moving parts
* Team player - you'll be part of a collaborative, positive workplace culture
* Adaptable - manufacturing moves fast; you roll with changes
Lovely to have: Tertiary qualification, experience in construction/manufacturing, familiarity with project management software
