About the Role
Preshil is seeking a dedicated and creative Primary School French Teacher for an ongoing, part-time position (0.2 FTE / one day per week). This role involves teaching French from Prep to Grade 6 at our Arlington Campus in Kew.
You'll design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate language learning experiences that introduce students to French language and culture through play, story, music and hands-on activities. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to inspire curiosity and confidence in young learners, using a student-centred, inquiry-based approach.

You bring:
* Completion of an accredited Initial Teacher Education (ITE) program, such as:
* A four-year undergraduate teaching degree with a language method; or
* A two-year postgraduate teaching qualification, following a relevant undergraduate degree in Languages, Education or a related field
* Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
* Experience teaching French in primary settings, with an understanding of early language acquisition and developmental learning
* The ability to create inclusive, student-driven lessons that centre play, imagination and cultural exploration
* A commitment to progressive educational practice and ongoing professional learning.
