Yalla Foods is a small, award-winning food manufacturer supplying Coles, Woolworths, Costco, Harris Farm, IGA, and independent retailers. We are seeking a dedicated, people-focused Sales & Administration Officer to manage customer orders and act as the central hub for operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Interaction: Take and process orders via phone and email, maintaining strong relationships
* Information Flow: Ensure production and coolroom teams have accurate, timely order information
* Sales & Reporting: Collate daily sales figures and update sales forecasts
* Procurement & Compliance: Prepare purchase orders, enter supplier invoices, reconcile statements, maintain SQF-compliant records
* Freight Coordination: Collaborate with teams to schedule outbound deliveries efficiently
* Administration Support: Assist with stocktakes, general admin, and promotional periods
Key Skills & Attributes:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills — a people person
* Experienced in MYOB / ERP and Excel
* Highly organised, proactive, reliable, able to manage varying workloads
* Sales or FMCG experience highly regarded
Full Role Details
Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales & Administration Officer is the central point of information for the business. The role is primarily responsible for customer orders and communication, while supporting operations with logistics, procurement, and compliance tasks. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential as some duties support our SQF food safety certification.
Responsibilities Include:
* Maintain excellent relationships with customers, responding to enquiries and occasional outbound calls
* Ensure timely communication of orders and sales data so internal teams can operate smoothly
* Collaborate with production and coolroom staff so everyone has the information they need to complete their tasks efficiently
* Prepare purchase orders, enter supplier invoices, and reconcile statements
* Maintain SQF-compliant records
* Collate daily sales figures and update forecasts to support production planning
* Coordinate promotional pricing periods with major retailers
