About the role
AAM Investment Group is recruiting for Experienced Forklift Operators to join our timber Mill in Bathurst. Reporting to the Reprocessing Manager, the role is responsible for operating plant and equipment on site to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the timber mill.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Loading/unloading trucks using forklifts.
* Operating a forklift to move timber around the factory.
* Forklift operations
* General hand when required
* Working in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures.
About you
* Previous experience loading & unloading trucks
* A valid Forklift licence.
* Must hold current driver's licence.
* Previous timber industry experience highly regarded but not essential.
* Ability to work safely in accordance with workplace health and safety standards.
* Good communication skills and safety conscious attitude.

Australian Softwood is located in Bathurst, NSW, the site is a mid-tier radiata sawmill company processing approximately 90,000m3 p.a. small saw logs. The business also produces framing and landscaping products. The mill is a modern Hewsaw SL200 sawline with fully optimised automation to gain high recovery and productivity. Other onsite facilities include a timber treatment plant, kiln drying and a drymill.
