CELOTTI WORKFORCE is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to support site operations with a reputable client. This role will provide hands‐on safety support to operational teams while assisting with compliance, investigations, and safety systems across site.
Responsibilities
* Support the implementation and compliance of site Health & Safety policies and procedures
* Provide safety guidance and advice to supervisors, employees, and contractors on site
* Assist with internal and external safety audits
* Maintain and update records within the site safety management system (BSafe)
* Review incident reports, safety observations, and hazard reports
* Assist with incident investigations and corrective action tracking
* Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety observations
* Monitor hazard identification and risk management processes
* Support the close‐out of safety actions from incidents, audits, and inspections
* Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings to reinforce site safety standards
* Assist in maintaining compliance with WHS legislation and internal safety frameworks
Our Ideal Candidate
* Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (Cert IV OHS) – required
* Certificate IV Training & Assessment – highly desirable
* Minimum 3 years' experience in safety roles
* Previous experience in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry environments preferred
* Demonstrated experience working with safety management systems
* Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements
* Experience supporting incident investigations, inspections, and hazard management
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with operational teams
* Ability to work independently while maintaining high safety standards
