About The Role

Are you a qualified Psychologist with an interest in working with young people & their families? CAHMS Bathurst has an exciting opportunity to join their supportive team.

Priding themselves in maintaining a culture of excellence & flexibility, this role provides robust clinical orientation and development within CAMHS. The successful applicant will work closely with the team leader, clinical leader, and the wider team, and will be linked with a clinical supervisor and professional mentor.

The successful applicant will engage in robust clinical and operational orientation, including the development and implementation of an individualised professional development pathway. This plan will include core skills required for the role and the applicant's developmental interests in CAMHS.

The Bathurst CAMHS team includes clinicians from nursing, social work, psychology, and psychiatry backgrounds, with support from dietetics and other allied health disciplines. The team meets every morning to review new referrals and plan the day. Clinicians will then see young people and their families, conduct mental health assessments, provide therapy, and care planning for improved mental wellbeing.
