Overview
Randstad is partnering with a large Western Australian State Department to recruit for multiple key roles within their Strategic Procurement and Contracts Division. We are seeking experienced professionals for the following ongoing contract roles to manage a variety of goods, services, and works, including ICT and community services contracts.
Open Positions
* Procurement Manager (Level 6): Focuses on developing high-risk contracts, including procurement planning, tender documentation, evaluation, and contract formation. This role provides specialist advice on procurement and contract governance, including contract renewal and extension strategies, and is involved in mentoring and coaching team members.
* Contracts Manager (Level 6): Primarily focuses on managing and assessing compliance of high-risk contracts to ensure delivery in accordance with agreed terms and milestones. The role involves contributing to the development of high-risk contracts, providing specialist advice on contract planning, development, and management, and mentoring team members as required.
* Senior Contracts Officer (Level 5): Manages and develops medium to high-risk contracts and provides specialist procurement advice on contract governance and contract management. Key tasks include preparing tender and contract documents, facilitating negotiations to resolve disputes, and undertaking financial analysis of contracts.
* Senior Procurement Officer (Level 5): Focuses on developing medium to high-risk contracts and provides specialist procurement advice on contract governance. Duties include facilitating tender evaluations, preparing tender and contract documents, and facilitating negotiations during contract development.
Qualifications and Capabilities
* Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract governance/management.
* Proven communication and negotiation skills to consult effectively at all levels and provide advice.
* Strong research, analytical, and conceptual skills.
* Knowledge of Government Procurement policies, issues, and strategic directions, including the Procurement Act 2020 and WA Procurement Rules.
