**How you'll make an impact**
Contribute to proactive management and optimisation of product margins and profitability for AMP's wrap platform products.
**Main Focus Areas**:
- Assist in the design and implementation of the pricing strategy for AMP's Wrap Platform portfolio to achieve strategic plan objectives
- Assist in the optimisation of product margins and profitability for the Wrap Platform portfolio, considering product mix, anticipated sales volumes, retention, enforce business growth, expense unit costs, capital requirements and other profit drivers
- Assist in the management of the product margins and profitability for the Wrap Platform portfolio, including pricing of new and enforce business in line with strategic plan assumptions
- Assist in the design and recommendation of fees and incentives for the Wrap Platform portfolio
- Analyse and communicate impact of "test and learn" exercises in relation to pricing strategy
- Undertake continuous improvement initiatives to improve personal and team productivity
- Ensure product and offer pricing is compliant and operates within AMP's risk appetite
- Proactively seek exposure to new challenges to enhance skills and capabilities
**What you will bring to the team**
Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role:
- Tertiary qualified in a relevant business discipline, Actuarial, Accounting, Finance, Business or other similar discipline
- 5+ years' experience, preferably within the financial services industry
- Demonstrated experience in margin and profit management
- Detailed understanding of investment and superannuation platform markets, competitors, and the legislative and compliance environment
- Demonstrated understanding of capital, profit and value measures and drivers
- Ability to identify and build pricing capabilities including methodologies, assumptions and pricing models
- Ability to design and execute "test and learn" pricing techniques
- Solid diagnostic skills - adept at providing advice and solutions to issues
- Ability to interpret and analyse relevant data to identify issues, trends and emerging problems
- Strong, proven analytical and financial skills
- Strong implementation skills, accountable for outcomes and demonstrated skills in continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of general business and financial metrics and the ability to understand the implications of various business plans and initiatives on financial outcomes
- Strong decision-making skills in commercial and people environments
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to enhanced teamwork
- Plans and acts with the customer front of mind by looking for efficient and agile ways to deliver for the customer
- SQL and data analysis (highly desirable) and strong excel skills (required)
