Join Our Team Education Assistant
Georgiana Molloy Anglican School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Education Assistant to support Primary School students and contribute to our inclusive, student‑centred learning environment. Working under the direction of the Head of Learner Access and Early Intervention, the successful applicant will assist students with specific learning needs and help deliver a holistic approach to teaching and learning.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* A minimum Certificate IV in School Based Education Support (or equivalent)
* Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and teaching staff
* Well‑developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Sound organisational skills to support the delivery of effective educational programs
* The ability to assist with the general health, safety, and wellbeing of students
About You:
* Previous experience in an educational setting or working with children
* Ability to assist in managing classroom activities, providing care and supervision for students
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Compassionate and patient, with a genuine interest in supporting student development
* A proactive and team-oriented approach to supporting the classroom environment
