Machine Operators & Overhead Crane Operators

We are seeking experienced machine operators who are also competent in operating overhead cranes. Alternatively, candidates with the ability to effectively manage the loading and unloading of bar trucks will also be considered suitable.
About the role.
Due to an upturn in workload, an exciting opportunity exists to join our Sydney team at our St Marys NSW site. As an Active Steel Machine Operator, you will be responsible for manufacturing a wide range of items as part of our production team.
About you.
In order to achieve success in this role, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Machine Operators & Overhead Crane Operators who encompasses the following skills and capabilities:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in the steel reinforcing industry
* Experience operating steel production machinery
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Commitment to working safely and contributing to a strong OHS culture
* Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
The following attributes are not a pre-requisite for the role but would be highly desirable:
* Overhead gantry crane experience
* Previous experience operating reinforcement machinery would be highly regarded.
