About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced aged care registered nurse for a Quality Manager position at their aged care facilities based in Mount Gambier on a permanent full-time basis.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensure the facilities operate in line with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and professional standards
Participate in and contribute to quality improvement and continuous improvement programs
Complete home audits and quality indicator reports
Prepare staff for aged care commission visits
Provide education and mentorship to clinical staff
Provide clinical support, guidance and advice to management
Oversee and report on any clinical incidents and care related events
Maintain accurate records and documentation consistent with policy, legislation, and privacy requirements
Assess and identify clinical gaps and provide training solutions
To be successful in the role you will have:
Bachelor of Nursing
Current AHPRA registration
Demonstrated experience as a level 2 or 3 Registered Nurse within aged care
Solid written and verbal communication skills
National Police clearance
Flu vaccination and Covid vaccinations
Designated consultant to support you through the recruitment process
