: The Emergency Services Agency is seeking applications from highly motivated, experienced, and suitable individuals to fill the position of Assistant Director, Fleet.
The Assistant Director, Fleet will demonstrate exceptional project management and procurement skills to ensure all fleet projects run seamlessly from initiation to delivery and implementation. You will lead a small team responsible for supporting ESA's operational capability through the management and procurement of fleet assets and associated equipment.
This role is critical to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, ACT Government and JACS Directorate policy frameworks for fleet assets; and to ensure timely and cost-efficient procurement practices. You will also develop high quality reports, business cases and briefings to ensure you provide expert advice to ESA Executives, senior management and business units. It will also be crucial to build strong rapport with stakeholders with an emphasis on quality and collaboration to achieve agency outcomes.
Additionally, the ideal candidate would be proficient in identifying opportunities for strategic fleet projects and services to enable and enhance operational response across the ACT Emergency Services Agency.

Eligibility or other requirements :
A 'C' Class Driver's licence is essential. A 'HR' Class Driver's licence is highly desirable.
This position requires a Working with Vulnerable People Check.
Previous experience in managing fleet or emergency service projects would be advantageous
