As a Credit Analyst, you'll play a key role in evaluating the creditworthiness of small-to-medium businesses applying for asset finance.
You will conduct credit assessments, analyse financial statements, and make sound, timely decisions.
This role requires commercial acumen and strong attention to detail to ensure credit applications are processed efficiently in a high-volume fast paced environment.
While your primary focus will be asset finance, you'll also have the opportunity to support credit assessments across other business lines, including Fleet, Novated, and Rental.
INCLUDED IN WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Assess and decision asset finance credit applications for small-to-medium businesses, including Sole Traders, Trusts, and Companies.Analyse financial statements, tax returns, bank statements, and other supporting documents to determine creditworthiness.Ensure accurate and timely data entry into ORIX systems.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure credit applications align with the Group Credit Policy.Provide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.Approve credit applications within your delegated authority.Support the Credit Manager and broader credit team with ad hoc tasks.What We're Looking For: 2+ years of experience in commercial business lending and credit underwriting, within asset/equipment finance.Experience of holding a DLA.Strong ability to analyse financial statements and assess SME and Sole Trader businesses.Proven experience making sound and timely credit decisions in a high-volume environment.Knowledge of commercial asset finance products (chattel mortgage, finance lease, rental, operating lease).Familiarity with legal and regulatory considerations, including the Privacy Act, PPSA, and AML/CTF.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.A customer-focused attitude with a proactive and collaborative approach.A team player with a positive and can-do disposition.If you're ready to take the next step in your credit career and want to be part of a market-leading company, APPLY NOW!
