About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Art Therapist to make a meaningful difference in a dynamic healthcare environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver comprehensive Art Therapy services, supporting patients and their families/carers through creative, evidence-based therapeutic practices.
As a leader in this field, you will drive education, research, and advocacy for Art Therapy, helping to strengthen and expand awareness of its benefits. You will also support the implementation and ongoing development of Creative Health within CALHN, offering diverse arts-based therapies that enrich the hospital experience for patients, staff, and visitors.
This role requires a qualified and experienced Art Therapist with a strong foundation in creative health practices and a commitment to delivering person-centred care. The ideal candidate will possess clinical expertise, communication skills, and creative insight to thrive in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
The successful applicant will be skilled in delivering assessments and tailored interventions in acute and rehabilitation settings. They will have experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating Art Therapy programs for diverse age groups.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills, with a focus on quality care and safety.

* Qualified Art Therapist eligible for ANZACATA membership

* Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills, with a focus on quality care and safety
