Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Development Executive to support sales operations, client engagement, and business growth initiatives. The role involves a mix of sales coordination, market research, client handling, and administrative support to drive overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare quotations and maintain records of quotations, communications, and sales activities
* Follow up on leads, proposals, order closures, and pending payments
* Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies and identifying new market opportunities
* Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business expansion areas
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through email, calls, and in-person meetings
* Coordinate client meetings, events, appointments, and conferences
* Prepare and circulate agendas, proposals, cost estimates, and briefing documents
* Support tender review, preparation, and submission processes
* Maintain and update client databases and mailing listsCollaborate with technical teams to develop and streamline internal sales processes
* Assist in project documentation, reporting, and internal process implementation
* Track submitted proposals and provide status updates and feedback to management
* Provide general administrative and operational support
* Offer secretarial support to the Directors' Office as required
* Coordinate shipment and logistics activities
* Provide basic technical support assistance when required
* Support internal and external audit documentation and preparation activities
Required Skills & Competencies
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Good organizational and multitasking abilities
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Basic understanding of sales processes and business development
* Ability to coordinate across teams and manage multiple tasks
* Attention to detail and documentation skills
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field
* 1–2 years of relevant experience in sales coordination / business development / tendering
* Exposure to technical products or project-based industries is an added advantage
