Job Description
JEM Australia JB Rigging Pty Ltd is currently seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Welder/Metal Fabricator to join their team in Narre Warren South, VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess: Read & interpret plans, drawings, blueprints, engineering information and specifications to determine appropriate machinery, tools, materials and methods of fabrication. Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIC and Arc welding with steel.
Adhere to WHS and Worksafe Regulations and Policies Prepare and assemble equipment and weld parts using suitable welding techniques and equipment Support metalworking projects from planning and fabrication through assembly, inspection and testing and report to production manager Machine parts to specifications—using lathes, milling machines, shapers and grinders Experienced in all facets of general fabrication, welding, and sheet metal work Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as Boom & Scissor Lifts Skills & Attributes: At least 3 years’ experience as a Welder / Metal Fabricator Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent Salary range is $75,000-$85,000pa commensurate with skills and experience.
