We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Plant Operator who has an eye for detail and enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment. This permanent full-time position will be based on site in our Hope Valley Factory, WA. This is a factory process worker position, with the requirement to operate a forklift. The starting base hourly rate will be $30-$35 per hour.
The Role
As an integral member of the production team, you will be responsible for carrying out general manufacturing tasks related to the processing and production of mineral based fertilisers and liquid based fertilisers, as well as their distribution across Australia and internationally.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
* Operating machinery and equipment
* Assembling and packing products
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Following health and safety guidelines
* Completing tasks within set time frames
* Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
* Adhering to company policies and procedures
About you:
* West Australia High-Risk Licence – Forklift (mandatory)
* Australian Drivers Licence
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment will be looked upon favorably
* Ability to operate machinery and equipment
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
* Reliable and punctual
