About The Role
Casual position available.
As an Allied Health Student Cadet, you'll work alongside experienced health professionals, getting real-world practice in both clinical and non-clinical work. With up to 60 days of paid employment over six months, this is your chance to boost your confidence, strengthen your skills, and learn what it's really like to work in healthcare.
In This Role, You Will
* Take on supervised clinical activities matched to your skills and training.
* Support patients and families as part of a friendly, multidisciplinary team.
* Learn from feedback and workplace training to grow your confidence.
* Get involved in a mix of clinical and support activities.
* Help provide safe, person-centred and culturally respectful care.
Requirements
* Candidates must be currently enrolled in a recognised Australian University's pre-entry allied health degree program (i.e., Undergraduate or Graduate Entry Master degree) specific to the advertised discipline. Graduation from this course must provide the mandatory entry-level qualifications required for employment as a Health Practitioner in Queensland. Appointment to this position requires proof of enrolment to be supplied to the hiring manager.
* C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
* Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
* This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
* A period of probation may apply.
