Your Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Operations: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes, manage accounts payable and receivable in compliance with policy and legislation, and support financial modelling, costing, and analysis for internal projects.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with internal stakeholders to monitor financial performance, contribute to internal audits, risk reviews, and process improvements, and maintain financial data integrity and support financial systems enhancements.
Requirements:
* Finance Experience: Previous experience in a finance or accounting role (ideally in the public sector) is essential.
* Technical Skills: Strong skills in Excel and financial systems are required, with TechOne/MYOB/BASWARE experience highly desirable.
* Analytical Mindset: A proactive, analytical mindset and strong attention to detail are necessary.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills are required.
