Customer Service Officer - Aquatics Centres– Cumberland City Council (Careers at Council)
Location: Merrylands, New South Wales.
Casual position.
Located 20km west of Sydney on Dharug country, Cumberland City Council is the fourth most populous Local Government Area in Greater Sydney.

About The Opportunity
Council's Assets, Capital and Facilities unit sits within the City Services directorate and focuses on the management of the Cumberland LGA.
Cumberland City Council owns and operates four (4) Aquatic Centres and two (2) Fitness facilities across the LGA providing recreational services to the community.
In contributing to the overarching vision, theCustomer Service Officer - Aquatic Centrewill deliver a quality customer experience and act as a first point of contact for all swim centre related enquiries and bookings.
The Successful Applicant Will Require
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid Certificate
Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
Excellent communication & customer service skills
Strong time management and organisational ability
Experience dealing with customer enquiries and complaints
Experience using leisure management software
Experience in database management and report writing

What You'll Need To Have For This Role
The right to live and work in Australia
Be able to provide information for pre-employment checks required for the position, including attending a physical pre-employment medical examination

Salary information
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award:
Grade 4 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $31.34 to $38.39 per hour (plus casual loading), plus 12% superannuation
Weekend penalty rates apply in accordance with the Local Government Award
The commencing salary will be negotiated, based on qualifications, skills and experience
