Our Real Estate team is one of the largest and most respected in Western Australia, offering deep industry insight and extensive experience across legal and regulatory frameworks.
This opportunity involves working closely with our property Partners and leading practitioners in the field.About YouOur ideal candidate will have the following attributes:Minimum 4-years post-admission experience.Strong and demonstrated knowledge of Western Australian property law and practice generally, including:due diligence;transactional work, including the preparation and negotiation of contracts to buy and sell commercial, retail, industrial and other types of property;negotiating development agreements;arranging settlements, including on PEXA;preparation of off-the-plan strata contracts;advising on, preparing and reviewing commercial, industrial and retail leasing (both landlord and tenant perspectives);land development, particularly subdivisions;drafting easements and restrictive covenants;Experience working with local government on property and development related matters, including on urban renewal projects (desirable);Experience working on retirement villages (desirable);Good communication skills, and confidence to act in a client-facing role; andThe ability to work autonomously and also collaborate in a team environment.What You Will Do (Responsibilities)Provide commercial and practical solutions to complex property matters.
