Great role for someone who's backed a fast-moving founder/entrepreneur before and already knows what they're signing up for.

Harness Master is a fast-growing, well-established business operating across multiple industrial sectors. They have built strong systems, structure, and momentum and are continuing to scale. The Managing Director moves quickly, makes decisions fast, and expects things to get done without friction.

That's where this role comes in.

This is not a sit-there-and-take-notes type of role. It's about running the day, the week, and a good portion of the life of someone who moves quickly, changes direction often, and expects things to happen without delay.

At its core, this role is about supporting someone who operates at pace, knowing when to step in, when to redirect, and when to just get things done without needing to be asked. A big part of it is staying ahead, anticipating what's coming next, spotting the gaps, connecting the dots, and stepping in before things turn into problems.

The role covers:

* A diary that is constantly shifting but still needs to make sense
* An inbox that requires filtering, prioritising, and responding without creating bottlenecks
* Coordination of meetings, travel, and logistics across multiple moving parts
* Keeping visibility across projects, actions, and deadlines so nothing quietly drops off
* Acting as the central point when MD is offsite, ensuring things continue to move
* Managing access to his time and making sure focus stays on what actually matters
* Pushing back when required and keeping people accountable

The office is based in Rutherford, however this isn't a fixed, desk-bound role. The way of working flexes depending on where the MD is and where support is needed most. That might mean being in the office, working remotely, or adjusting throughout the week to stay close to the action. There is flexibility, but it comes with an expectation of responsiveness, adaptability, and being where you need to be to make the role work.

About You

This role suits someone who has already worked closely with a founder in a fast-moving environment and understands what that actually involves day to day. The right person will:

* Naturally create structure rather than wait for direction
* Stay a few steps ahead and think things through before they become urgent
* Remain calm and solution-focused when things get busy or change quickly
* Be organised in a practical way, using systems that actually work
* Be comfortable pushing back and holding people to account when needed
* Manage multiple priorities without losing sight of what matters most
