Six Degrees Albany, a vibrant multi-service hospitality venue combining bar, restaurant and accommodation, is seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily restaurant and bar operations. This full-time role will ensure a smooth service delivery, strong customer satisfaction, and team leadership performance. For the right candidate, a sponsorship under a 407 Training Visa will be available, offering a pathway for international applicants to develop skills and grow within the Australian Hospitality Industry.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day restaurant and bar operations.
Ensure compliance with licensing, health, safety and food hygiene regulations.
Deliver and maintain high service standards for all guests.
Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
Promote customer loyalty through positive dining experiences.
Lead, train and mentor FOH staff to uphold service and presentation standards.
Conduct staff inductions and work closely with the HR Manager for ongoing performance reviews.
Create a positive, professional and motivated workplace culture.
Work closely with the Procurement team for overseeing stock control and ordering.
Support venue marketing initiatives, events, and promotional campaigns.
Work closely with the Head Chef, Procurement and Operations Teams for menus, specials and service flow.
Assist with group events, functions and community engagement.
Qualifications and skills:
Minimum 2–3 years proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a Hospitality setting.
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
Approved Manager Card and a valid RSA is a must
Understanding of inventory management.
Knowledge of compliance with liquor licensing, food safety and OH&S.
Passion for customer service and team development.
Formal qualifications in hospitality management is desirable but not essential.
Must be available to work on a flexible roster including weekends and evenings.
