Role Description
There are 2 positions, part time Diploma Qualified Edu ator and casual Certificate III Educator., both at Aboriginal Children's Centre in Risdon, TAS. The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for planning and implementing learning activities to support children's development in alignment with cultural values and educational standards. The role involves fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment and collaborating with colleagues, families, and community members to ensure that children thrive both academically and socially.
Qualifications
* Strong Interpersonal Skills to engage with children, families, and colleagues effectively.
* Understanding and knowledge of Early Childhood Development and working with children to promote growth and learning.
* Creativity Skills to design engaging and culturally relevant activities for children.
* Excellent Organization Skills to manage tasks, plan educational activities, and maintain a structured learning environment.
* Experience or familiarity with working in Aboriginal communities or cultural contexts is highly valued.
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education
* First Aid and CPR certification, or a willingness to obtain these qualifications.
* Dedication to fostering inclusivity, cultural awareness, and respect
* Working with Vulnerable People Registration
* National Police Check
