Who We Are:
North Lakes State College is a large school with students from Prep to Year 12 plus an Early Childhood program. The College is situated across 2 campuses, with this role primarily based at the Prep to 9 Campus on Joyner Circuit, North Lakes.
Step Into Your Next Chapter:
* Maintain school ovals, lawns, and gardens through regular mowing, watering, edging, weeding, and pruning.
* Upkeep of school grounds and outdoor areas, including car parks, playgrounds, fences, and sports courts.
* Operate and maintain grounds equipment such as mowers, trimmers, hedgers, blowers, and pressure washers.
* Inspect outdoor areas for hazards and address or report safety issues as required.
* Comply with all health and safety regulations, ensuring safe handling of chemicals, fertilisers, and fuels.
* Perform other duties as directed, including assisting with event setups and supporting team operations.

The Perfect Fit:
* Previous experience in turf management is highly desirable
* Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance preferred.
* A relevant Certificate qualification is desirable
* Additional certifications such as operating a chainsaw and managing chemicals are desirable
* Must be able to work independently as well as with a team.
