We are representing a brand-new legal AI startup who is on a mission to take the pain out of due diligence. Their AI generated platform helps legal firms cut through the chaos of corporate legal work with smart automation that makes their lives easier. They're growing fast and looking for a Lawyer who wants to transition out of a Firm and into a Customer Success Manager role. You will bridge the gap between their groundbreaking tech and the real-world challenges their clients face. This isn't a 'keep the lights on' role. You'll shape how they deliver value to clients, build relationships that last, and feed insights back into the product. You'll be the voice of the customer and a key player in their journey from early-stage startup to industry leader. THE ROLE Own the client journey end-to-end: onboarding, training, adoption, and long-term success Be the trusted advisor who translates legal pain points into seamless AI-driven solutions Work collaboratively to share client feedback and influence what they build next Spot opportunities for growth, whether that's new features, new use cases, or upsell/cross-sell Help clients navigate change and get teams excited about new ways of working Build processes, and best practices for a first-class customer success function ABOUT YOU You are a qualified Lawyer, ideally with corporate M&A with strong due diligence savvy Someone who gets clients - strong track record in customer service, B2B sales, or client-facing roles is ideal You love the legal industry but want to move away from the typical Firm culture and pressures of delivering billable hours, burning the midnight oil and feeling demotivated If you've worked in legal tech, SaaS, or change management this would ideal but not essential - it's more your drive, ambition and ability to be the turning point for clients to ensure they can use their time more productively Commercially sharp and comfortable talking business value as much as legal detail A relationship-builder who thrives on collaboration and clear communication Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and ready to roll up your sleeves in a fast-moving startup FINE PRINT Paying $85K to $100K plus super - all depends on your previous skills, experience etc This role is Melbourne based or can work remotely in Sydney Car park spot in Melbourne Hybrid opportunities A front-row seat at a legal tech startup that's redefining due diligence Real influence - your ideas won't just be heard, they'll be actioned A small, passionate team that celebrates experimentation and big thinking The chance to build something that could change an entire industry If you're ready to ditch the old-school Firm grind and help reimagine how legal work gets done, we want to talk to you.
