About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced, energetic, reliable individual who loves the beekeeping lifestyle. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that involves working outdoors in rural environments, supporting all stages of honey production and hive management.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the care and maintenance of beehives across multiple sites
Participate in honey harvesting, extraction, and processing
Extraction lifting and pulling honey from hives
Moving hives around WA to follow the best seasonal honey flows
Operating and maintaining beekeeping equipment and vehicles
Delivering bee boxes to and from sites and our processing facility
Working in both small teams and solo in the field
Extracting and processing honey in our base factory
General hive maintenance, feeding, and health inspections
Maintaining biosecurity and compliance protocols
Accurately documenting movements, harvests, and hive conditions
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of beekeeping experience
Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads in all weather conditions
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and problem-solving attitude
Comfortable with significant country travel and overnight stays away from home
Reliable, respectful and able to work well within a small, close-knit team
