Salary & Benefits
This position offers a salary range of $1,029.85 to $1,086.54 gross per week, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, a Level 2 Adverse Working Conditions allowance of $1.327 per hours shall be paid. Inverell Shire Council employees enjoy a range of benefits including:

Position Overview
The Facilities Cleaner is an essential role within the Parks and Gardens team, and is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of various Council parks and recreational facilities. This position involves performing cleaning tasks, minor repairs, and maintenance to ensure a high standard of service for the community. Please click here to view the position profile.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a reliable individual with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness in public spaces. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
* NSW School Certificate/NSW Record of School Achievement or equivalent.
* Class MR Drivers License.
* SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction Card ('White Card').
* First Aid Certificate.
* Work Safely in the vicinity of overhead electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker unit of competency.
* Strong communication skills for effective liaison with supervisors and team members.
In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning public facilities, park furniture, electric barbecues, and playground equipment, as well as operating small machinery such as footpath sweepers and pressure cleaners. You will also assist in minor repairs and maintenance as required.

* Are you comfortable working independently as well as part of a team?
* Do you have experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks in public facilities?
* Can you effectively communicate safety concerns to your supervisor?
* Are you familiar with operating small machinery such as pressure cleaners?
