The Role
* You will undertake internal and external advertising to attract top talent, ensuring a strong candidate pool. This may involve promoting job openings on our website, social media channels, and other online platforms.
* You will take charge of onboarding, delivering a smooth transition for new hires. This includes providing comprehensive induction programs, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed, and coordinating IT access and equipment.
* You will provide expert advice and correspondence on recruitment matters, backed by research and best practice. This may involve developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, conducting interviews, and assessing candidate suitability.
* You will prepare and draft documents, executive correspondence, and ad-hoc reports as required. This may include producing detailed reports on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire and cost-per-hire, and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
* You will identify and contribute to improving recruitment processes and team service offerings. This may involve collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative solutions, implementing process improvements, and evaluating their effectiveness.
* You will develop reference materials and collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation. This may involve creating training programs, developing policy documents, and engaging with external partners to share best practices.
As a Recruitment Manager, you will lead recruitment strategies and team operations to meet organisational talent needs. You will partner with senior stakeholders to align recruitment priorities with business objectives, oversee recruitment campaigns, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will also mentor and support recruitment staff, fostering professional development and ensuring compliance with APS policies.
The Ideal Person
You bring solid experience in recruitment, ideally within the APS or public sector, with a keen understanding of recruitment systems, policies, and stakeholder engagement. You are professional, energetic, and customer-focused. You thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about connecting people with opportunity.
Salary / Rate
* $80k - $120k + Super
* 6 – 12-month positions
* Australian Citizenship is required
* Having a Baseline or higher clearance is a big bonus
